Rain Catchment Systems

Rain catchment systems can be used for irrigation to conserve on water usage. We recommend installing water treatment for catchment systems that are primarily for domestic supplies and water treatment should consist of filtration and strong bacteria protection.
Piping Between Large Water Storage Tanks

Watson Well has designed and installed many rain catchment systems for various uses. Water is usually captured from roof structures into gutters, then routed to storage tanks. Depending on the square footage of the roofs, a tremendous volume of water can be captured and stored during major rain events. If there is not enough elevation between the storage tanks and the point of use, pumps can be installed to transfer the water for use as needed. Once tanks are full, overflow drains can be directed to storm run off locations.
