Ozone DESTROYS PATHOGENS & OTHER CONTAMINANTS

Ozone is 3,000 times faster than chlorine or other chemicals in killing dangerous pathogens which include, E.coli, giardia, cryptosporidium, as well as viruses, fungi, molds and microbes.

Our ozone systems have positive impacts with all types of farming – but especially with extremely sensitive plants like Cannabis or Grape Vines. Whether outdoor farming, greenhouses, or hydroponic, all farms recognize the immediate benefits of using Ozone produced water. Just one of many benefits of using water made with ozone is the increased levels of dissolved oxygen (DO), which alone, will create an aerobic environment for the plants resulting in the control or elimination of pathogens, reduction in crop losses, and increased plant health and yields.

Ozone Destroys Pathogens And Contaminants

Bacterial Disinfection

Ozone is the most effective way to disinfect water. Many municipal water systems are turning to ozone because of its ability to kill bacteria on contact which chlorine does not. Ozone is a very powerful germicidal agent. Pathogens that are even briefly exposed to ozone immediately disintegrate.
In water, ozone is 350 times more powerful than chlorine and anywhere from 10 times to 3,000 times faster acting than chlorine in killing total harmful microorganisms, including E. coli, as well as Giardia, Cryptosporidium, parasites, virus, fungi, iron bacteria, molds and other microbes found in water.
By using ozone for disinfection, it eliminates the need for potentially dangerous or hazardous chemicals or other cumbersome disinfection techniques. In short, it’s the safest, most efficient, fastest, and most natural form of organic disinfection for water available.

Bacterial Contamination

If bacteria are present in the water and a proper shocking or disinfection of the water source and all distribution lines is not able to eliminate the infection, we can design and install a disinfection system to fix the issue.
Bacteria treatment systems can utilize chlorine in conjunction with one or more properly sized contact tanks, which provide the necessary exposure time between bacteria and chlorine. A carbon filter is used at the end of this process to remove all traces of chlorine from the finished water.
Another method of treating bacteria is ultraviolet light (UV). When utilizing UV in water disinfection, it is essential that a very effective pre-treatment system is in place to remove any minerals or solids in the water, so the bacteria stay in direct exposure to the UV light as they pass through the lamp chamber for long enough to be killed. If pre-treatment is insufficient, the bacteria can ‘hide’ in the shadows cast by mineral and pass through into the domestic water supply.
Our ozone treatment system is our most effective way to disinfect water. Ozone is a powerful germicidal agent, capable of killing E. coli, as well as Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium, and a variety of other parasites, viruses, fungi, molds and other microbes commonly found in water.
