Chemical Water Treatment

Certain conditions in water may require chemical treatment systems to solve them. One chemical treatment process uses chlorine or peroxide as a disinfectant or strong oxidizer by injecting the chemical directly into the water stream. The pathogen or mineral with proper contact time will be destroyed or suspended in solution for filtering.

Our surface treatment systems may utilize specially formulated flocculants, or coagulation chemicals to bind up very fine suspended solids that are unable to be captured through standard filters. When exposed to these chemicals, the fine solids begin to bind up into a larger solid that can then be captured in a filter bed.
