Well Rehabilitation & Well Repair
Well Rehabilitation is the process of trying to restore the performance of a well to its original condition. Over time wells can be impacted by different organic and biological conditions that develop inside the well potentially affecting both well yield, and water quality.
When the performance of a well changes, a video inspection of the inside of the well will many times identify the cause for the well’s change in performance. During this inspection, we are looking for any casing breaches while closely inspecting the screened or perforated intervals of the well for mineral or biological deposits that can be blocking the ability of the water in the formation to enter the well casing as when the well was first developed.
Upon well production testing, our team will be able to determine the necessary actions to rehabilitate the well. Sometimes the solution is a well cleaning to remove any built-up debris or bacteria, and other times, it may be that the well is in need of repair.
Any historical information a customer can provide us such as drilling logs, previous well tests or water tests will help in determining a course of action.
